About Me
Kimberly
I'm Kimberly! I am married to my high school sweetheart, Mark, and we have three beautiful children!
I am on the Mid Central Community Action Board of Directors, as well as Co-Vice President of PTO at our children's school for 2009-2010.
Aside from providing marketing solutions to smaller businesses, I am also an avid couponer! I've used coupons since starting college. I couldn't believe how much everything cost (and how I wish now those were still our prices!), so I subscribed to an amazing publication and I was on my way to saving money, finding amazing deals, and really being able to provide for my family in a unique way!
My 2009 Challenge was to keep my monthly spending at a target of $150 per month. My average from January-June ended up being $182.82. It's actually higher due to meals out, and special purchases that didn't make it into the blog, so I'd assume my average is a bit over $200 month. However, for a family of five, with a toddler in diapers, and two pets, that's pretty awesome indeed!
January Spending: $175.01 February Spending: $197.67 March Spending: $207.96 April Spending: $190.35 May Spending: $188.11 June Spending: $137.79
I had intended to do this for all of 2009, but I've decided I'd like to focus more on the business side of things, and not worry about all the details for every shopping trip. I'll still post the deals I'm getting, but won't post all the nitty gritty items all the time! I'd love for this to become a more interactive blog, and welcome your questions, comments, and your own shopping success stories!
