Well, for those of you who know me well, know I love my ice cold Pepsi! Clare House
Today was an amazing day. Two kindergarten classes from Bent Elementary in Bloomington, Illinois, including my daughter's class, has been collecting food for our local pantry -- the very same pantry my children and I donate to regularly: the Clare House! The kids have been bringing in food items for over three weeks, and they were all very excited to take a field trip to the donation drop off location, and put all of the items in the huge bin! It was estimated that over 500 items were donated from just these amazing classes! It was quite humbling to see the involvement from such young children, and I was quite honored to have been invited along!
Below is news coverage from our local station! How cool is that! My daughter is wearing a purple-ish pink coat... you'll catch the back of her quite easily, and there's a wonderful, beautiful, very quick picture of her while she's getting ready to put her item in the bin! There is a still picture of her from the video below! She was interviewed, and she did great until the camera was turned on, so she didn't make it on air! :-)

Great Donations Today!
Awesome! We were able to load up three boxes of items, and several bags, too! Pudding, Chef Boy ar Dee, Ketchup, Toothpaste, Pasta Sauce, Broth, Hot Chocolate, Cereal and Taco Shells were all part of today's offers. Again, I urge you to donate when you can... we purchase what we can with sales and coupons, assist our family members and friends who need a little help, and then donate what's left. It's a great, great feeling!

Time to Donate
Tomorrow is Saturday! My kids and I try and donate *something* every Saturday, and since part of our Retire With Coupons mission IS donating, I am going to post what we give, in order to inspire other people to donate, too! I'll check in tomorrow after we've gotten all of our items together!

More Detergent!
Well, yesterday was the last day of the Jewel buy $30, get $15, and I couldn't resist one more (well, several more) transaction!
30 bottles of All laundry detergent! ( I special ordered, but it didn't come in, so another store that had stock offered 30 to me! How awesome! )
16 boxes Lipton Soup Mix
14 Green Giant Frozen Vegetables
10 Breyer's Ice Cream
I had my $30 in cat from yesterday's deals, so I rolled those into each of these deals. I paid $22.88 out of pocket, but earned back my original $30 in cats, plus an additional $15 in cats, so my total cost for all of these items was only $7.88, with a savings of $316.60!
I'm loving this... $7.88 for just the 30 bottles of laundry detergent makes me swoon with happiness, but to get all of the other items, too, is just a blessing!
The con agra catalina starts next, so let's hope it goes as smoothly! :-)

Shopping Fool!
WOW! It's been a month since I've posted! You all need to remind me to get over here, and post my deals! :-)
This last month has been a whirlwind of excitement! Retire With Coupons is officially a legal entity now! Our business registration is complete, and workshops will begin soon! We also offer our excess stockpile for families who are interested and need lower cost options in our current economic situation! On to the shopping... the last few weeks have literally been deal after deal. And, as I type out what I did just today (yes, just today!), I'm constantly amazed at how blessed I am! I do not have pictures... there was just so much stuff, and after my husband and I hauled it all in, it sat in bags for a few hours while I tried to determine a new storage strategy. lol
This was at Jewel, and it was another Catalina deal. Buy $30 worth of items, earn $15 to use on your next trip. I used coupons on my products, and after my first transaction, I rolled every $15 on the next order, and then earned another $15... it was just an amazing cycle! I did not do this all in one trip to the store, but throughout the day at two different locations!
20 Jars Peanut Butter (This was huge for us, as our favorite organization to donate to, and the recipient of my daughter's kindergarten's class food drive project specifically requested peanut butter!)
